December, So Far

Some fun things have been happening this month. I figure I'd better blog about them while I have the free time, if you know what I mean. We built a super sweet gingerbread house! Alfonso and Ben had a marshmallow snowman building contest. Very fun. Ben graduated from the D.A.R.E program. We are proud of him and all that he learned. Here he is pictured with a total babe. . . I mean, the keynote speaker, Heather Anderson a.k.a. Miss Utah 2007. And yes, he has this picture in his locker. On Sunday, Carrie and Nick blessed their baby in their home. It was so special. It was great to spend some time with family. And I just have to say, that my nephew, Riley is a total stud. Isn't he cute??? Here's Delynn with baby Natalee on her special day. I just need to take a moment to say that Alfonso is THE MOST patient man I've ever known! Okay, this was seriously cool. Alfonso and I had just finished our chinese food and opened up our fortunes together. We laughed so hard. "Short stranger", eh? I think they might be on to something.

My New Neice

I got to hold her the day she was born! Then I got sick for a week with this crazy virus that's going around, and each of the boys got it too. Finally two weeks after her birthday, I was able to hold her again. Isn't she beautiful? Her name is Natalee Rochelle!

I can tell already that we are going to be good friends. Welcome to the world little one!

9 Months - How I feel - Complete With Visual Aids

My ability to grip items can be summed up in one word, non-existant. I drop everything and when I muster the willpower to pick it up off the floor, I do it with the grace of a dwarf on stilts.

I have the alluring waistline of Homer Simpson.

When walking, I have the unmistakeable teetering gait of E.T. or Yoda, yet sadly with none of the superpowers.

Weight gain, swelling, and hormones have turned me into a bear. Hornery, lazy, and huge.

And to top it all off, I have accumulated the recall ability and razor sharp wit of an ostrich.

That's how I feel, no complaints, just statin' the facts. :) Yay for pregnancy!!!
