The Hallowed Tale of the Forgotten Blogger

Once upon a time, people read my blog and left comments and I felt warm and fuzzy inside knowing that we were in some way connected. A big cute fluffy dragon named facebook came and dominated the land, consuming the attention of all the townsfolk, anhialating all blogging and inexplicably starving my self-esteem. Is it because my posts are boring? Is it because no one cares? Is it because facebook is easier and better? Is it because Josh Groban's voice is no longer pleasing to the ear? Is it because I smell bad? Whatever the reason, forgive me, come back to me. Give me a second chance.
PLLLEEE-HE-HE-HE HEEEEEZ!!!

. . .is it because I'm fat?

I love your blog! In fact I am one who always checks blogs when people post, and doesn't check facebook much. I love hearing about what is going on in your life! Thanks for sharing, and know that someone in the blogging world loves your blog and reads every time you post!!!

It's because I'm usually at work and am not supposed to comment on blogs because people might see where I work and take my personal comments for gospel truth (true story).

Also, because I just found out about your blog when you found me on Facebook. See, FB isn't all bad.

I read every post you write! I'll be a better commenter. Commentor? Or is that too much like Dementor? It appears there is a comment drought throughout the land as mine have fallen off dramatically as well. Let us unite and share the love!

I love your description of facebook as a big cute fluffy dragon. It's so true! However, my blog posts are sporadic at best so I can't blame facebook for that. I love your Josh Groban sounds... And your blog... And you!

I am not always good at leaving comments and I just don't do anything anymore, look at my blog for an example. I love our blog. Your family photos are great. Keep it all coming.

I read your blog every week Roachie. I just am horrible at leaving comments. I do love your stories and cute photos, though. I especially love all those cute things your boys say.

I LUFF you. I always read even if I don't always comment.

I think it was the Josh Groban.

Ha! This is SO how I've been feeling lately. I asked myself the other day if I should give up blogging entirely. What is it about comments that makes us feel so connected to people? And why do I take it so personally when someone doesn't comment?

Sigh.

At least I'm not alone in my wonderings.

I love you!
