So, ice-loving youth on Center Street, I salute you. And to the poor, poor innocent tree. . . get well soon.

Thank You, Ice Tree Makers. Sorry, Ice Tree
The ice tree. I don't know why they did it, whether they have a thing against trees, or whether they consulted their parents. But the kids who live in that one house on Center Street have created a bizarre spectacle in their front yard. We think that in the early winter months, they hosed it down nightly. A few branches have broken off, for obvious reasons. Since it is en route to our house, we drive by often, and every time we do, everyone yells, "THE ICE TREEEEE!"

We saw that tree when we came to your house over the holidays and loved it. Funny Funny
Wow! I've never seen anything like that. You can see the branches in the middle sagging under the weight of all of that ice. I hope the tree makes it through the winter, but in the meantime, it's quite amazing to see!
Hmm, that's kinda cool lookin' isn't it???
Rochelle that ice tree has been a tradition for that family for years! At least I recall having seen it and talking to my mom about it. It wasn't there when I was a little girl, but I have seen it the last few winters when I visited. I think it is cool, but I didn't ever notice that the tree branches were falling off!
Misty, that is so cool! Sometimes I forget I'm on your old stomping ground :) Wow, if they do that every year, I sure feel sorry for the tree, it looks pretty beat up. But it is definitely still alive. It's like it's been cryogenically frozen or Mr. Freeze did a number on it. I can't wait to see what it looks like after the thaw!!!
Oh my GOSH!
All I can say is, "WOWWWWWWW!" I need to see that in person.
wow. thats intense.
